I wanted to make some self portraits this spring while in Arizona that would also show the landscape. These were two of my favourite results. I love the shallow depth of field of the more traditional portrait, which was a bit of a challenge to accomplish on my own while also trying to not step on something sharp or poisonous. The double exposure took some patience as well in order to line everything up in a way I liked. I think I'm happiest with the golden hour light in both images. In both cases, Superstition Mountain is in the background.
